Managing Director
Engr. Hilary Machebe serves as the Managing Director at Hilcot Energy Services Limited, where he collaborates with the core Hilcot team to enhance services for Hilcot clients. Prior to his current role, Hillary held various positions, including Consultant Drilling Fluid Engineer for an ultra-deepwater project with TOTAL Exploration in Angola, specifically for Block 17 and the Clove Project. He boasts a successful track record in drilling numerous wells, such as CRA351, CRA353, PRPWells, ACACIA Wells, GENGIBRE, and MONSTARDA Wells, employing NABM, Reservoir Mud Systems, and Sieved Reservoir NAMB Systems.
In addition to his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Hillary has earned an MBA. And, when not hard at work, he enjoys golfing.

Paul Brasell
Technical Director, Operations
Paul Brasell brings over 30 years of invaluable experience to Hilcot. Boasting a rich history as a Project Manager and OIM Barge Supervisor with Megadrill, and later as a Project Manager with Kastel in Alabama, USA, Paul has consistently demonstrated a talent for managing intricate operations, ensuring rigorous safety and quality standards, and leading and mentoring diverse teams. Having worked globally with Noble Drilling and Gulf Coast Associates, where he served as OIM Barge Supervisor overseeing barge operations and maintaining regulatory and emergency equipment, Paul is adept at navigating complex challenges.
Paul’s philosophy revolves around the importance of teamwork, communication, and mutual support in delivering effective, efficient, and safe results. Always ready to adapt to new challenges, his mission is to make a positive impact on our team, our clients, the industry, and the environment. Above all, Paul is committed to ensuring that every team member returns home to their family with a sense of pride.

Before joining Hilcot, Jason demonstrated his proficiency in sales, consistently delivering successful outcomes for projects under his purview.
